The disk is devoted to the memory of David Roxburgh, long-time member of the Edmonton Composers’ Concert Society, and features his outstanding two-part Toccata. Other works include the dynamic Roiling by Laurie Radford, intense Piano Sonata #1 by Kenneth Girard, charmingly light Three Preludes by Gordon Nicholson, poignant Visions of Nothingness by Ron Hannah, and monumental mare tenebrarum by Piotr Grella-Możejko.
